The city is great, the nightlife is fantastic and the beach is wonderful. I've had a fantastic time and met some great people. I would wholeheartedly recommend Valencia.

Nevertheless, I have had a bad experience in the university. I have found the people who work there to be unhelpful and generally rude. The frustration of the process of matriculation was high. Teachers do not give Erasmus students the time of day. Tasks are not properly explained and the online resources are shocking. Any system that can be contrived to be long and arduous for the students is indeed long and arduous. Students are treated like children by the staff, who do not seek to help their students at all.

I don't wish to put people off the university; perhaps it is just my experiences that led me to form a negative opinion of the institution. I'm sure not every single person in every faculty is rude and unhelpful.

Overall, I am very sad to be leaving the city so soon and will certainly come back to visit.
